Today on our 2008 Dodge Ram 2500, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Gate Mate Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack. That part number is TH824. Now we already have this laid across our tailgate. We're going to show you how to get it installed and then show you an example of to mount your items on there. To start off, we just drape this over tailgate just like so. We're going to open up our pocket here or our flap. It's going to allow us to gain access to our door here and be able to open that up. more

Thule Truck Bed Bike Racks Review - 2011 Dodge Dakota- Video
Today on our 2011 Dodge Dakota Crew Cab we will be testing the Thule Gate Mate Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack for Compact Trucks. That's 54" wide. The part number is TH823. We can go ahead and start by putting our pad over the tailgate, with our two block pads facing upward. We'll come down to our three straps. What I like to do is go ahead and overlap them all so we can just feed all of them at once up underneath our tailgate. Once I have those stacked I'll go ahead and feed them between our bumper and our tailgate. more

Thule Gate Mate Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack Review - 2013 Dodge Ram Pickup- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Ram Pickup we'll be test fitting the Thule Gate Mate Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack 62 inches wide for full size trucks, part number TH824. To begin our test fit we'll go ahead and drape the mat over our tailgate. This is where it may be helpful to have an extra set of hands. We'll bring the straps around the underside of our tailgate, feed the straps through our tightening brackets on the other side, and pull them tight. We want to make sure that the Thule logo is at the bottom of our mat on the passenger side. We can also flip open the pad here to gain access to our tailgate handle. more

Today, we're going to review the Thule Gate Mate 62-inch Model for full-sized trucks, part number TH824. The Gate Mate is an inexpensive way to transport a lot of bikes where you can load and unload quickly. The Gate Mate is padded all the way around to not only protect your truck but also protect the bikes that you're carrying. There are two blocks at the top to act as stops to keep your bikes from sliding too far to the left or to the right. There's a strap that's stitched in to the top of our Gate Mate that we can use as an anchor point when we're ready to secure our bikes after we load them up. There's a built in handle hood with hook and loop fasteners so you can access the tailgate handle of your truck. more

Thule Gate Mate Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack for Full-Size Trucks Installation- Video
Today were going to show you how to install the Thule Gate Mate 62-inch wide Truck Bed Bike Mat, part number TH824. Well be installing it on a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 but the install should be almost identical on any full size pick-up. The first thing we need to do is clean the tailgate. We want to make sure that any dirt and debris are off the tailgate so that the pad doesnt rub it into the paint. With the tailgate cleaned well take our pad, open it up and lay it over the tailgate. We need to feed all the straps through the bottom of the tailgate and the gap in between the tailgate and the bed. more

Yakima BedHead Truck Bed Bike Rack Review - 2012 Dodge Ram- Video
Today, on our 2012 Dodge Ram 1500, well be test fitting the Yakima Locking BedHead Front Fork Bike Rack, part number Y01133.Well begin by using the rail clip and the fork block. Well bring the rail clip underneath the bedside hooking it up and around the bedside itself, then slide the fork block into position and tighten it down using the Allen wrench provided.With the fork block tightened down, well now simply inert the skewer and screw down the adjustment knob accordingly. And with our skewer within the fork block, were now ready to load our bike. Well simply undo the front wheel on our bicycle, insert the front fork into the fork block making sure that the skewer goes through the wheel mount on the fork, then well tighten down the skewer to secure the bike to the bed. And with our bike secured, were now ready to hit the road.And that completes our test fit of the Yakima BedHead, part number Y01133 on our 2012 Dodge Ram 1500. more

Swagman Pick-Up Truck Bed Bike Rack Review - 2012 Dodge Ram- Video
Today on our 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 well be test fitting the Swagman Bed Mounted 2-Bike Carrier, product number S64702. With our bike carrier preassembled, were ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. Well simply bring the bike rack up into the bed, position the driver's side arm on the bed rail and extend the passenger's side arm out to contact the passenger's side bed rail. When it's snugly in place, well simply push down on the center of the bike rack which will clamp it down to the bed of the truck. With the clamp, its secured to the vehicle and were ready to load our bike. To load our bike, well simply open the skewer up, insert the front fork of the bike into the skewer and clamp it down to the bike rack itself. more

Swagman Pick-Up Truck Bed Bike Rack Review - 2006 Dodge Ram- Video
Alright today on this 2006 Dodge Ram 3500, were going to do a test fit of part number s64702 from Swagman. A couple quick notes about this bicycle rack, it will hold 2 bikes, adjust to any size truck bed, and mounts across the top of the truck bed. And also has a angulator lock that secures the rack to the truck bed. Now lets go ahead and put it into place and give it a test fit. We will start out with it open, and then we will put on the drivers side, put it on the ledge of the bed, and well take the other half and extend it out as we need to hit the bed on the other side. Okay and extend it as far as you can, until you cant go any more, then you simply push down in the middle. more
